Sergio Perez admits that the Austrian GP has been difficult for him, though he is delighted with the qualifying result at the same time.

Red Bull Racing’s driver Perez is set to start Sunday’s Austrian GP race from the third position. Despite a good result on Saturday, the Mexican believes that this race weekend is quite challenging for him.

“It’s been a hard weekend. We had a bit of an issue yesterday [on Friday] with the car,” Perez said.

“We found it today [on Saturday], and we’ve just been progressing, finding the balance. I haven’t been as comfortable as expected after coming from a weekend here, but we did good progress for qualifying.”

At the same time, he is happy with his starting position for the race.

“In the end, I think it’s a good result. It’s a good starting position because tomorrow [on Sunday] in the race we can be strong and we can have a good pace,” Perez commented.
