The Indianapolis 500 saw a 5-year high in terms of TV ratings. The iconic event peaked a viewership of 7.129 million, up from 2020’s Covid-hit race disappointing 3.692 million.
The Total Audience Delivery metric, which combines both television and live streaming audiences, revealed the Indy 500 produced 5.581 million viewers. However, the viewership peaked at 7.129 million viewers, a 51.1 percent increase in the year-to-year audience.
