Brad Keselowski is reported to join Roush Fenway Racing in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season as an owner driver.
The Cup Series silly season is underway and it has started with huge news. According to Motorsport.com, the 2012 champion Keselowski has been offered to join Roush Fenway Racing as well as become a partial owner of the team.
Brad Keselowski is a big figure in this year’s driver market as his current contract with Team Penske expires at the end of the 2021 season. Multiple organizations have reportedly been in contact with him, including RFR.
If the deal is made, Brad Keselowski will do a sensational move from Team Penske to Roush Fenway Racing. He will likely drive the no.6 car, currently operated by a former Penske driver Ryan Newman. Furthermore, if the rumors turn out to be true, the team name will also be changed to Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing, emphasizing the role of the Rochester Hills, MI native.
Brad Keselowski will also join Denny Hamlin in the list of current drivers and owners in the Cup Series’ recent history.
No official announcement has been made as of now, but ASN Motorsports will make the updates on this topic as soon as they arrive.
