Chase Elliott is proud of what Hendrick Motorsports has achieved as an organization at Dover on Sunday.

Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover was all about Hendrick Motorsports’ dominance. Kyle Larson swept both mid-race stages, while Alex Bowman took the checkered flag itself. More than that, all 4 cars finished in the top 4 positions, which has not been done since 2005 by Roush Fenway Racing. The reigning Cup Series champion Chase Elliott spoke about what he felt after that finish and being a part of the historic achievement.

“Really cool. Glad Mr. Hendrick was here. He has been at just a few races this year. He picked a good one today,” Elliott said.

“Yeah, just proud of our whole team. Everybody, HMS, I feel like we have a really talented group of people that work really hard. It’s just nice to see their hard work awarded like that, in that manner, in that type of domination,” he added.

The no.9 car driver emphasized his pleasure of being a part of such a strong organization as Hendrick Motorsports.

“Those guys led, I guess Kyle and Alex, pretty much led the whole race. Really cool. Just really proud of everybody. Glad to be a part of the team,” Elliott concluded.

Chase Elliott went on to finish 3rd at the Cup Series race at Dover.
