The sneak peek of the upcoming race weekend of both NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series at Dover Inrternational Speedway.

We are on the brink of the weekend, which means that it is time for NASCAR action to resume. This time, we will visit the Monster Mile itself, Dover International Speedway.

Track characteristics:
Type: Superspeedway;
Length: 1 mile;
Banking: 24° at turns; 9° at straights.
Surface: Concrete.

Dover is a very fast track, despite it is quite short. High banking makes racing even more exciting and many drivers call it a rollercoaster. Basically, Dover is Bristol, but just twice as long.

The NASCAR racing action will start with the Xfinity Series race on Saturday, May 15th. Daniel Hemric will try to finally get his first NASCAR win from the pole position.

The action will be followed by the Cup Series race. In fact, the Dover race will mark the halfway point of the regular season, which means that the battle for the Playoffs will be even more intense. Martin Truex Jr. looks to keep up the momentum as he leads the field to the green flag this Sunday, on May 16th.

Make sure not to miss any news and updates from the race weekend at ASN Motorsports.
