Sergio Perez believes he gets more and more adapted to the RB16B car, so he expects to wins the Monaco Grand Prix.

With 4 race weekends already in the history books, Perez got the opportunity to work and learn more about his newest race car – RB16B. After the Spanish GP he admitted that he got more confident behind the steering wheel of the Red Bull Racing machinery.

“I’m getting more confident with the car now and every time I get to the end of a weekend, I think, ‘I wish the weekend was just starting now,’” Perez said.

That confidence boost gives the Mexican optimism ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix as he thinks he can be one of the contenders for the win.

“Every circuit is different so what I learn here will be different to what I need in Monaco, but the main thing is that I am still adapting and hopefully soon we can be 100%. I am excited for Monaco, especially with this car as historically it’s been competitive and I think we have a chance of winning,” he added.

Sergio Perez is 6th in the Drivers’ Championship at the moment with 32 points scored.
