Kaulig Racing owner Matt Kaulig has confirmed the team’s desire to join in full-time competition in the NASCAR Cup Series next year.

Kaulig Racing is not a new team for the NASCAR Cup Series as the team has already taken part in numerous races, including several Daytona 500s. Kaulig Racing’s appearance in the full-time action seemed like a matter of time and its owner has reafirmed it. Matt Kaulig has announced earlier on Wednesday at SiriusXM NASCAR Radio that Kaulig Racing will make its full-time debut in the Cup Series next season.

“We’re going full-time Cup racing next year. We’ll have one car. We’ll have at least one car, let’s put it that way. So that’s definitely a done deal. We’re super-excited about that. That’s the reason we’re running … we’ll run 10 or 11 Cup races this year, and man, we’re already three in,” he said.

No more details have been revealed, but Kaulig’s intentions are quite serious, so we will likely have at least one car from the team in the field in 2022.
