Noah Gragson acknowledges the importance of winning another Dash 4 Cash prize for himself and the team.

Though Noah Gragson did not manage to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega, he still left the Alabama race track with a positive outcome. The no.9 JR Motorsports driver finished 6th, which secured him a win in the Dash 4 Cash event, his second in a row. After the rain-shortened race, the Las Vegas native spoke about the success in the event.

“I think it’s huge,” Gragson told ASN Motorsports. “We really want to win races, but I think that extra bonus through Xfinity and Comcast, it’s really appreciated and beneficial for our team at JR Motorsports.”

Gragson also added that it was team effort that made the result possible.

“The no.9 [team] guys work really hard, so the portion of money that I get from that $100k will go to the no.9 guys and the pit crew.”

“It’s a team sport and I’m just very thankful and very fortunate to be a part of this no.9 team. So, it’s not me winning $100k two weeks in a row, it’s the no.9 team and those guys. It takes the whole group. So, everybody at Hendrick Motorsports and the engine shop and chassis shop, everybody, who’s in our program at JR Motorsports.”

“It’s a really grateful place to be. Everyone has a lot of passion, a lot of fun. And it’s rewarding when we can come out here and have fast cars like this.”

Noah Gragson will try to make it a threepeat of Dash 4 Cash victories at Darlington Raceway in 2 weeks.
