John Hunter Nemechek is delighted with how the things are going at Kyle Busch Motorsports at the moment.
John Hunter Nemechek came back to the NASCAR Truck Series to chase for the title and that is why he teamed up with Kyle Busch Motorsports. 5 races into the season, Nemechek had 3 top 5s, 4 top 10s, and 1 race win at Las Vegas. Ahead of the race at Richmond, he spoke about his experience with the team so far.
“I really enjoy being here at Kyle Busch Motorsports and being a part of the whole TRD program,” John Hunter Nemechek told ASN Motorsports. “I feel like Kyle [Busch] is definitely a symbol to a great team around me with crew chief Eric Phillips and all of our guys that work on this 4 team and all the guys here at Kyle Busch [Motorsports]. (…)”
“I feel like everyone here is on the same page of wanting to win races and it’s pretty cool that KBM has been able to win 3 of those 5 races this year, including one with myself, so, hopefully, we can get back to victory lane this weekend.”
“I like the whole dynamic, everyone’s working together, we’re continuing that, trying to progress and come up with new ideas to get better every single week, so we’re all on track for our #Here4Wins and we are going to continue to try lead as many laps and win as many stages and races as we possibly can.”
John Hunter Nemechek will try to get his second win of 2021 from the 18th starting position at Richmond today.
