Jorge Martin is unable to continue his participation in this weekend’s Portuguese GP after his nasty crash in FP3.
The MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix is over earlier than expected for the Doha GP polesitter Jorge Martin. This year’s rookie had a big shunt during the third free practice at Portimao.
After the incident, the Pramac Ducati rider was sent to the medical center for further evaluation by the doctors. The checks showed that the rider had a head contusion, right hand, and ankle contusion. It was also confirmed that he would be sent to the hospital for further observation.
Quite naturally, this excludes Martin’s further participation at the Portuguese GP.
Everyone at ASN Motorsports wishes Jorge Martin a speedy recovery and hopes to see him back on track.
