Track characteristics:
Type: Short track;
Length: .75 miles;
Banking: 14° on turns, 8° on the backstretch, 2° on the frontstretch;
Surface: Asphalt.

Though Richmond is quite a tough race track and the drivers need to be virtuous to be quick there. Avoiding mistakes is key to success at that race track. More than that, we can see some familiar faces back on top, like Kyle Busch, who is the most successful active Cup Series driver at Richmond with 6 race victories.

The racing action will start on Saturday with the Truck Series 250-lap race, in which Ben Rhodes will lead the field to the green flag alongside with Austin Hill on the front row. Martin Truex Jr., who is the force to be reckoned with at short tracks, is going to start the Cup Series 400-lap race from the pole position in the chase to get another win at such type of tracks. Denny Hamlin will try to finally win in 2021 from the 2nd starting position.
