MotoGP will introduce digital flag panels for the rest of the 2021 season, starting at Portimao this weekend.

EM Motorsport will provide 22 panels that will be placed at all MotoGP venues during race weekends. The objective is to enhance the visibility of signalization making it easier for the riders to stay alert to any changes in the status of racing in the circuit.

The position of those panels will be determined by FIM, making sure they are placed in the natural eye line of the riders.

MotoGP will use a combination of the T1 and T2 panels, which vary in size and performance, with T1 meant for long run-off areas and straights while T2s cover the rest of the circuit.
