Taylor Gray will not make his Truck Series debut next weekend at Richmond as expects several surgeries after a car accident he has been involved in.
Just weeks away from the expected NASCAR Truck Series debut at Richmond Raceway, David Gilliland Racing’s Taylor Gray got into a single-car incident. He got hospitalized and checked by the medics.
Later, it was revealed that he had undergone surgery on the fractured vertebra. The young driver would also need to have some more surgeries for a left foot and ankle, which had also been hurt, but thankfully the doctors confirmed that he would be fully recovered, according to David Gilliland Racing.
The team had also announced that the circumstances excluded the possibility to make it to the race for Gray and the no.17 truck had been withdrawn from the event.
Everyone at ASN Motorsports wishes Taylor Gray a speedy recovery and hopes to see him back at race track very soon.
