Jeb Burton has been confident that he will do well at Kaulig Racing from the start and believes this is only the start.
This year Jeb Burton has got one of the biggest opportunities in his career so far – he is driving in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Kaulig Racing on a full-time schedule. In the first 6 races of 2021, the 28-year-old from Halifax, VA has scored 3 top 5s and 2 top 10s. Ahead of the race at Martinsville, Jeb Burton got to reflect on the strong season start.
“I think I knew I was going into a really good situation with Bruce [Schlicker], my crew chief, and all the guys here in the shop,” Burton told ASN Motorsports. “So, I knew I could do it, I thought we would have a little bit more struggles maybe at the start just because I haven’t been to a lot of these tracks, but I figured it out and they figured out what I need.”
The no.10 Chevrolet Camaro driver also added that there would be a lot more to come from their team further in the season.
“We’ve hit it all and we’re not done growing yet and I’m not done getting better. So, it’s really exciting, like I said, the way our race team is going.”
Jeb Burton has the 13th starting sport in today’s Xfinity Series race at Martinsville.
