Augusto Farfus will team up with Paul Dalla Lana and Marcos Gomez will team up at Prodrive in the upcoming World Endurance Championship season.

One of the most experienced drivers in the world Augusto Farfus will drive in the WEC full-time this season. It has been revealed that he will drive the GTE Am Aston Martin Vantage, ran by Prodrive, in a team with Paul Dalla Lana and Marcos Gomez in Season 9.

Farfus gave his comments on the announcement: “The WEC is the pinnacle of sportscar racing and a full-season is a goal for any driver.”

“I really enjoyed driving the Vantage with Paul [Dalla Lana] last year at Spa and Le Mans. Paul is a great teammate, with an absolute passion for his racing and a desire to win, while Marcos has proven just how quick he is.”

Paul Dalla Lana added: “I’ve had great success with Aston Martin Racing over the past nine years and winning the title in 2017 in Bahrain was undoubtedly the highlight. I still have unfinished business at Le Mans and I believe we now have the best package of car, team and drivers to emulate 2017 and to secure our first Le Mans title.”

Marcos Gomez also shared his thoughts: “Le Mans last year was an amazing experience and now to get the opportunity to compete in a full season and to do this with Aston Martin is a dream come true.”
