JR Motorsports’ Noah Gragson’s main priority for this Friday’s Xfinity Series race at Martinsville is to make the trip to the victory lane, though the Dash 4 Cash bonus is still in mind.

Noah Gragson keeps showing great form in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a couple of good runs. Gragson is a relentless driver and he will do his best to be in a race-winning position no matter what. The Las Vegas native has reassured his desire to win ahead of the race at Martinsville, setting race win as the benchmark performance.

“I’m going to Martinsville to win the race, not going to win the Dash 4 Cash [only],” said Gragson. “If you win the race, you win the Dash 4 Cash, so my main focus is to win the race at Martinsville. I don’t want that to come off like I’m saying I’m going to go win the race, I’m headed towards Martinsville to try to win the race. I feel like if we can run up front and have a good opportunity to win the race, we’re going to have a great opportunity to qualify and win that Dash 4 Cash.”

The no.9 Chevrolet Camaro driver also acknowledges fellow Dash 4 Cash competitors this weekend as well as appreciates all the efforts to set this event up in the championship. 4 drivers compete for the $100,000 and whoever from the quarter finishes highest takes the money bonus.

“With that being said, I think there’s a lot of great competitors – we have my teammate Justin Allgaier, we have AJ Allmendinger, and Harrison [Burton]. […] That’s where my focus is, to try to win the race and it’s one heck of a bonus if you can take on that Dash 4 Cash,” he said.

“I’m very thankful for everybody at Xfinity and NASCAR and everybody who helps organize this Dash 4 Cash program, because it’s one heck of a bonus and it really helps the teams out and we were fortunate enough to win it last year and with two JR Motorsports cars in the running this weekend it’s going to be one heck of an opportunity and I really hope we can take it home,” Gragson concluded.

Noah Gragson will start tomorrow night’s Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway 8th.
