Arguably the one race that fans have been waiting for with the utmost anticipation, will have to wait another day as the Cup and Truck Series race scheduled for Sunday has been postponed to Monday due to rain.

In a familiar sight to what we saw on Saturday, the intensity and consistency of the rain that came down, and continues to come down, will not be ideal for track conditions of a dirt race, so NASCAR was forced to postpone both races.

As disappointed as race fans are everywhere, NASCAR is certainly just as disappointed. They never like to have their races held on Mondays, especially in the afternoon, so that goes to show how bad the rain must be right now in Bristol.
