Qualifiers and Truck race rained out at Bristol

Qualifying has been canceled for both the Camping World Truck Series, as well as the Cup series. The Pinty’s Truck race on dirt was postponed and will take place after the Cup race on Sunday night.

It was a wash-out at Bristol on Saturday afternoon, as intense and consistent rain turned the dirt track into a mud track and ultimately canceled qualifying for both the Truck and Cup series. The first heat race in the Truck series attempted to go underway, but the amount of mud that was kicked up and stuck to windshields and grills was too much of a hazard that they could not continue.

Lineups for each race will follow the same formula as every other race this season and have been announced by NASCAR shortly after the cancellation.
