The Aston Martin F1 Team has isolated two members after positive tests for Covid-19 in Bahrain.
The team said it is taking all necessary precautions, and did not give an update on the condition of those two staff members, nor said their role inside the organization.
The Bahrain government offered Covid-19 vaccines to all personnel associated with the event last week. However, as Formula 1 did not make vaccination mandatory for its staff members and teams, following the UK established roll-out, Aston Martin did not accept the offer.
Some non-UK-based teams, however, like Ferrari and AlphaTauri, have taken the opportunity to be vaccinated.
