Ben Rhodes tops the standings of the final practice of the Truck Series race weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway dirt track.
After the NASCAR Cup Series opening practice at the Bristol dirt track, the trucks came back to the Last Great Colosseum for the second and final practice.
The drivers came back to the track that has been recovered a bit after the first two sessions. Shortly after, we got to see competitive lap times.
Ben Rhodes took the early lead in the final practice with the time of 20.703s.
The day ended early for JR Heffner in the no.3 Jordan Anderson Racing truck as he hit the wall quite hard – the session was stopped.
After the practice got resumed, the trucks were back on the track and we saw Johnny Sauter and Chase Briscoe jump in the top 10.
Ben Rhodes remained on top in the Truck Series final practice. Ryan Newman had a blast after a weak practice 1 – he set the second quickest single lap time in the following session and became the best Cup Series driver in the standings. Tanner Gray was in the top 3 again – 3rd place that time around.
