The starting lineups for each qualifying heat race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at this weekends Bristol dirt race has been announced today.

This will be the first race of the season where trucks will have to qualify for the main feature race, and the format of such mimics a traditional dirt race, and not the usual qualifying format that NASCAR typically follows. 44 trucks will attempt to qualify for 40 open spots, and the lineup will be based on a point system for each heat finish, similar to stage points (1st – 10, 2nd – 9, etc…). Each truck will also get an additional point for each place gained from their original starting position, combine those two and the top 35 trucks make it in. Finally, the last 5 spots will be awarded to the remaining drivers who have the most 2021 owner points.
