Bubba Wallace is ready for the race weekend at Bristol as well as his return to the NASCAR Truck Series.
Bubba Wallace is one of the Cup Series drivers, who will have double duty this weekend at Bristol dirt. The 27-year-old driver from Mobile, AL will drive the no.11 Spencer Davis Motorsports truck while Hattori Racing Enteprises will support them. Ahead of the race weekend, Wallace shared his thoughts about the dirt event.
“I’m pumped to get to Bristol and run on the dirt in the no.11 Tundra. This is a race I’ve had circled on my calendar for the Cup race, so to be able to add the Truck race and have Columbia come on board just adds to the excitement for that week,” Wallace said in the team statement.
He also added that his past Truck Series win at Eldora might help him at Bristol: “I have the one win in the Truck Series at Eldora, and it was a lot of fun. I may need to pull some notes from that race to prepare, but I’m just really looking forward to getting back in a Tundra and starting the Bristol weekend with a win.”
Bubba Wallace makes his return to the Truck Series as he will have his first race there since 2019, when he has finished 10th at Martinsville and 20th at Texas. Overall, Wallace has 6 race wins in the championship, 15 top 5s, and 28 top 10s. He will start 8th in the Truck qualifying race 1 on Saturday.
