The young Hungarian driver Laszlo Toth will make his Formula 3 debut this season with Campos Racing.

Campos Racing’s Formula 3 driver lineup is complete. It has been revealed earlier on Wednesday that Laszlo Toth will join the team in the upcoming season alongside Lorenzo Colombo and Amaury Cordeel.

Toth commesnt on the signing: “I’m very pleased and honoured to continue my career at a team with such great heritage,” said Tóth “I’d like to continue going forward step by step, just like I did before. This will be my first F3 season. Obviously the main goals are to develop and gain as much experience as possible.”

Adrian Campos Jr. shares his thoughts on Laszlo Toth joining the team as well as on the aftermath of the passing of his father and team founder Adrian Campos: “It has been a tremendous hit, obviously for me as his son, but also for everyone inside the team. We need to move forward and continue his legacy. He was already preparing us for a transition. He wanted to enjoy racing again without so much responsibility, so in the team we all had very clear indications of what he wanted for the future of the team. Everyone is now more motivated than ever and with Laszlo completing our line-up together with Amaury and Lorenzo, I am sure we will make him proud of his team wherever he is.”

In 2020 Laszlo Toth drove in Formula Renault Eurocup with Bhaitech Racing. He scored 14 points and finished 16th in the drivers’ standings.
