The feeling of being a part of the Cup Series grid has still not fully sunk in yet for Stewart-Haas Racing’s Chase Briscoe.

Chase Briscoe is already 6 races into his rookie NASCAR Cup Series season. Ahead of the Bristol dirt race weekend, the no.14 Stewart-Haas Racing driver shared his thoughts about being a part of the Cup Series.

“Every week I’m out on the grid I’m still kind of speechless”, Briscoe told ASN Motorsports. “Being out there in the Cup Series, it seems like something that would never have happened in a million years to be there and driving the car that I am for the team that I am. It’s just unbelievable, still. To this day this doesn’t feel certainly real.”

“If you would’ve told me five years ago or even two years ago that I was going to be doing the tire test at Nashville in the no.14 car, I would’ve told you you’re crazy.”

In the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season Chase Briscoe has the best finish of 18th at Homestead-Miami.
