Liberty Media has a desire of rotating some races in the future, according to Ross Brawn.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has made a huge impact on Formula 1’s and Liberty Media’s approach to choosing race venues and making up the calendar. Formula 1’s Managing Director Ross Brawn has given an insight on F1’s view on rotating races, which can possibly be implemented in the foreseeable future.

“It was a bit of a lesson for us. We’re thinking about how we can build in this factor of the new and unknown in the future”, Ross Brawn says.

The concept can be as follows: there will a be a pool of races, which will take place every year and then the calendar will be completed by the races that will change depending on the number of venues that want to host a Grand Prix.
