Among new teams, PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports is set to make the World Endurance Championship at Spa-Francorchamps this spring.

Ahead of the World Endurance Championship Season 9 first race at Spa-Francorchamps, some new teams have been added to the entry list.

2021 is going to be one of the most important years in the history of the LMP2 team from IMSA PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports as they will participate in their first 24 Hours of Le Mans race this August. However, the team will make the WEC debut a bit earlier – it will occur at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps event. It will be a part of training for Le Mans.

Another LMP2 team that will be present at Spa is quite familiar with WEC. G-Drive Racing will have two cars there. Roman Rusinov, Franco Colapinto, and Roberto Merhi will drive the one car, while John Falb, Rui Andrade, and Pietro Fittipaldi will be behind the steering wheel of the other car.

The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps race will take place on May 1st.
