Dutch ministers have sent a letter, in which they have reassured their support of possible Formula E race in Eindhoven.

Back in 2020, a rumor appeared that Formula E might go to the Netherlands with a race in Eindhoven. The idea seems to be even closer to reality after the the Dutch ministers have expressed their desire to support the event in a letter, sent to Formula E’s CEO Jamie Reigle.

“We are convinced that the enthusiasm and commitment of the organizing committee will ensure a successful event in a hospitable, safe, and open atmosphere both for the participants and visitors”, mentioned in the letter.

“We can assure you that, within the legal framework, the Dutch government will make every effort to assist the Formula E Operations Limited, the local organizing committee and the participants.”

“On behalf of the Dutch government we would like to emphasise that we consider it an honour to host the Eindhoven E-Prix in The Netherlands”, said in the conclusion.

If everything goes well and the plan goes ahead, a Formula E race will be hosted in the Brainport technology region as soon as the next season.
