In an accidental post to its Instagram account, Auto-Owners Insurance listed the races in which Martin Truex jr. would be running in the blue Auto-Owners paint scheme.

They appeared to have accidentally listed “Bristol Motor Speedway (Truck/Dirt race)” as a race in which Truex would be running; something that has not been announced by Truex, JGR, or Auto-Owners up until this point. The Instagram post has since been edited to have removed this race from the list.

When asked about this today in his post-race press conference, Truex responded with “Damn, they spilled the beans?” followed by an eruption of laughter. He continued, “Okay, yeah, we are. We are gonna run the truck race.”

He later confirmed that he will be running for Kyle Busch in his KBM truck. “He said I could run it for free so I did it”, added Truex. This will be Truex’s third time running in a dirt race, having only ran in a modified car twice for a charity event ran by his friend, and former driver, Kenny Schrader.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will run on the dirt track at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 27th, under the lights at 8pm EST.
