Brad Keselowski will likely be without his crew chief, Paul Wolfe, and Daniel Suarez will likely be without his crew chief, Travis Mack, at Atlanta next week due to two missing/ loose lugnuts found in the post-race inspection at Phoenix.

As first reported by Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass, both drivers are expected to be without their crew chiefs at Atlanta and incur a fine due to lugnut violations. This is not the first time crew chiefs were punished for lugnut violations this year. Ten crew chiefs were fined $10,000 following the Homestead-Miami race for an unsecured lugnut and Cole Custer’s crew chief, Mike Shiplett, was suspended following the race in Las Vegas for the same.

It has yet to be announced who will fill in for either crew chief, but it is expected that the lead engineer for both teams will likely fill that void.

The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 will take place next Sunday, March 21st, at 3pm EST at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
