Kevin Harvick makes his return to truck racing, preparing to get used to dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway.

One of the biggest stars in NASCAR Kevin Harvick has announced that he will race for David Gilliland Racing in the no.17 truck. This will help Harvick, as he will get to test out the dirt before heading into Sunday’s Cup race. NASCAR’s Cup Series has not raced on dirt in over 50 years, so this is a new race that everyone is excited for.

Harvick also announces he will go Xfinity Series racing in 2021. He will drive for the same team he races for in the Cup Series, Stewart-Haas Racing. The car number has not been announced. The highly skilled driver will run at COTA, Road America, and the Indianapolis Road Course – all road courses. Running in all of these races will definitely help improve his road course caliber and prepare him as he is able to take laps.

Ryan Preece will drive the David Gilliland Racing no.17 truck for two races this year. Both dates Preece will have a different sponsor, Hunt Brothers Pizza for Nashville and Morton Buildings will be the primary sponsor for Pocono. Preece will race in the Trucks for two weeks in a row, June 18th is Nashville’s date and Pocono’s race is on Saturday, June 27th.

Catch Kevin Harvick’s return to the Truck Series on March 27th at 8:00pm.
