Riley Herbst feels comfortable in the new team and is looking for the opportunity to have a perfect race.

Riley Herbst made a move from Joe Gibbs Racing to Stewart-Haas Racing this offseason. He has taken part in three races with the team already and has talked about his experience so far with the new team and how his former and current teams differ.

“The culture is quite a bit different. Both [Joe Gibbs Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing] are good cultures, they are just different. I really like the new guys over Stewart-Haas Racing. I feel like me and Richard [Boswell, crew chief] have worked really well together in these last couple of races”, Herbst says.

He also adds that he is waiting for a chance to have a good race in all aspects: “The things are going in the right direction and I’m just looking forward for whole race to be put together from start to finish. I think we’ll have pretty good speed.”

In the 2021 Xfinity Series season, the no.98 Stewart-Haas Racing car driver finished 26th at the Daytona oval, 39th at the Daytona road course, and 11th at Homestead-Miami.
