The no.11 Kaulig Racing car driver thinks such tracks as Homestead-Miami Speedway bring a lot of excitement in terms of strategy.
It goes without saying that Homestead-Miami Speedway is one of the favorite venues to drive for a lot of NASCAR drivers. Justin Haley shared what the most exciting thing about the race track was in his opinion.
“It’s a cool race track. There’s nothing like it that we go to”, Haley said. “For a race car driver tire wear is always fun. You can control the outcome of a run or the race with different strategies. There’s a lot of driver aspect, a lot of driver feel to it, a lot of driver talent put in goes to. I feel like a lot of hybrid 1.5-mile race tracks, it’s more than just what kind of car you have. … It’s more than how good your car is.”
“I feel like that the driver can make up a little bit at Homestead, especially in the Xfinity car”, he added.
In the Xfinity Series Homestead-Miami doubleheader last year Justin Haley finished 13th and 6th respectively.
