Both practices and heat races will be held at Bristol this March during the race weekend on dirt.
We are a month away from one of the most anticipated races of the 2021 NASCAR season – the dirt race at Bristol Motor Speedway. As we are getting closer and closer to that race weekend, its schedule has been revealed to the public.
The racing action will start on Friday, March 26th with free practices. On Saturday, March 27th there will be eight 15-lap heat races to determine the grids for the main races in both Cup Series and Truck Series – four in each championship. Saturday’s action will follow with the Truck Series race later in the evening.
Obviously, the biggest event of the race weekend will be the Cup Series race on dirt – it will be the championship’s first race of such kind since 1970.
