The no.3 Richard Childress Racing car driver is happy to compete alongside his brother Ty.
This year’s offseason was quite difficult for Ty Dillon as he had lost his full-time seat at Germain Racing. However, he made it to the grid in 2021 with Gaunt Brothers Racing in the Cup Series and with Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series. His older brother, Austin Dillon, shared his thoughts on racing together with Ty.
“It’s great to see him at the track”, Austin Dillon said. “I know he’s working hard, he’s happy with where he’s at. … I feel like he keeps doing this thing. Something will come up for him and he’ll be in the right place at the right time.”
“It’s always good to have the brother at the track”, he added.
In the only Cup Series race so far both Dillon brother raced together, Ty Dillon finished 19th and Austin Dillon crossed the line 34th.
