The installation works in Monte Carlo will begin soon as a part of the preparation for this year’s events.
The most prestigious race in the F1 calendar is more and more likely to take place in 2021. Despite the rumours of the possible cancellation of the Monaco GP for the second time in a row, it has been revealed the preparation for the races will start next week with the construction of the racetrack itself after the local authorities have allowed doing so.
The events that the street circuit will host are the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Formula E E-Prix, and the Historic Grand Prix. It will be be the first time ever that the principality will host all three events in one year. The races will run from April to May.
This is surely good news for Formula 1, because this means that they do not have to find a replacement for the Monaco Grand Prix, because it will take place this year as of now.
