The modifications regard the turns 9 and 10 chicane.
The Daytona International Speedway road course is going to be a little bit different this weekend. NASCAR has confirmed that the rumble strips are now added to the chicane at the back straight for the upcoming races on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The reason for the change was the fact that mud outside the track in the section had caused a lot of problems for the drivers in the last week’s Busch Clash as it influenced the visibility and there were a couple of spins because of dirt. With the amendments applied, racing should be much more comfortable there and we will get to see the rumble strips for the first time in the Truck Series race on Friday.
