Team Penske’s driver had the best lap of the session.
Saturday’s racing action at Daytona International Speedway started with the second Cup Series practice. However, only 27 drivers were able to go out on track as the session was stopped due to rain.
It slowed down a bit and the track was drying up, but another shower hit the World Center of Racing, which concluded the practice.
Brad Keselowski’s lap was the quickest on Saturday morning with the lap of 45.826s. Kyle Busch was second, while Bubba Wallace set the third fastest time. Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. completed the top 5.
The remaining sessions of the day still to go as planned, though it might be changed due to weather.
