France’s Clement Novolak will contest his second season in Formula 3 with the Trident team, moving from Carlin.
Novolak is the second driver Trident has announced, after David Schumacher. Novolak finished 12th in the 2020 Formula 3 campaign, with 45 points. He was the best-placed Carlin driver last season. His 45 points accounted for all but one of the points in the team’s 2020 haul.
There are now only seven seats left to fill on the 2021 grid, whose pre-season test was recently postponed due to COVID-19. The campaign is set to begin in just under three months at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain.
