Kyle Busch’s new Cup Series crew chief was happy to win on Tuesday.

For Kyle Busch, the 2021 season will be a year of a fresh start. After 6 years of working together with Adam Stevens, the 2-time Cup Series champion will have a new crew chief in Ben Beshore, with whom Busch cooperated in the Xfinity Series back in 2017. In their first race together in the no.18 team, Kyle Busch went to the victory lane in the Clash. After the race, Beshore shared his thoughts on how important it was to start the new cooperation that way.

“I don’t think it hurts at all. To be able to start the year with some momentum, some positive momentum, get a win right off the bat here, it’s awesome. Especially with a lot of new team members on the car, just getting everybody tied together, pulling the same direction. I think it’s huge”, Ben Beshore said.

Kyle Busch and Ben Beshore will try to develop their success tonight during the Daytona 500 qualifying.
