The 2018 NASCAR Cup Series champion is motivated to win the Daytona 500 as much as any other race in the schedule.

Joey Logano made the trip to the victory lane of the Daytona 500 once, which happened back in 2015. Though the list of the Daytona 500 is really special, there are even more drivers that won The Great American Race multiple times. The no.22 Team Penske driver shared whether the desire to win another Daytona 500 was more special for him than at any other venue and told about his motivation to be on top.

“It’s nice to say you got one [trophy], but better to say you have two”, said Logano

“I’m motivated no matter what. I don’t need that [extra trophy] to be motivated even more. I have plenty just knowing that there’s a race snd there’s a trophy ahead of me. I honestly can’t say I’m more motivated to win the Daytona 500 than I am at winning at Kansas or wherever it may be. It’s pretty much the same for me every week. I keep kind of the same intensity level, the same preparation for every race no matter what it is, so I don’t really look at it [the Daytona 500 victory] as anything different as the next week”, he added.

Joey Logano will start the chase for another trophy on Tuesday evening at the Busch Clash. He will start the race 10th.
